Jumpsuit are in style and they are all over. What I don't understand is, they are designed to look like a pant and top. Then what is the benefit of wearing jumpsuit instead of 2 separate piece of pant/shirt. Isn't it difficult to use the bathroom with jumpsuit

does it really look better than 2 piece

Every person I've seen walking around in a jumpsuit looked like they were wearing hideous jammies. I personally don't get the appeal and had the same thought about using the bathroom.

Lord help us - these things were bad enough the first time around. Will people ever learn?

Yep, dunk your sleeve in the toilet one time and you're over jumpsuits forever.

If you have a long torso, like me, they aren't even an option.

I don't get jumpsuits. I think they're impractical, and they tend to look pretty ridiculous. Not everyone can pull that look off.

But some can. I noticed my 30-something daughter-in-law wearing one yesterday and it was very flattering on her. The bathroom thing could be a problem I think.

I use to wear jumpsuits alot in the 80s, thought they would be good to wear traveling but trying to get out of it in the teny tiny bathroom plane was quite challenging. I did have one I like wearing traveling the top part had buttons, this is how all jumpsuit should be made !

Several years ago I bought a blk jumpsuit the fabric is cotton/rayon and the leg part is a little full which I like. I wear different sweaters and jackets with it, looks cute. Also, have a cute strapless one, it has a blue/white design and it's double fabric which I love - hides everything w/o having to wear spanx - great to wear by the pool - has a full leg and it's cotton/rayon - great jumpsuit ! Cute with a little white sweater or jacket.

I like a two piece suit black, blue or brown. Great to have traveling wear with a white blouse or diff. solid tops. Everyone use to dress up more and put outfits together nicely.

It looks and feels different... two piece vs jumpsuit. You do not need to tuck a top in, I almost finished sewing Marfy jumpsuit pattern and it looks great!

I have seen few people wear it nicely with a jacket on top. It looks nice but from far I couldn't tell if it was 2 piece or a jumpsuit. I did do some reading and as aquamarin mentioned, the benefit is suppose to be that everything stays in place (i.e the tuck top part). I might give it a try and see if I like it.

How long do you think this style will stay? Or will it disappear next season, if so I don't want to bother.
