There was an interview with Jennifer Lawrence, very real-life, as opposed to pure movie promotion. The sad thing is that she mentioned Googling herself with the word "ugly." It's really a pathetic indication of the way people hammer at celebrities, and pathetic that such a good (and beautiful) actress would be driven to worry about her looks.
"Jennifer Lawrence Has No Appetite for Playing Fame Games"
By Brooks Barnes
Well that's reality. Majority of people worry about their looks, and some have no reason to. Jennifer Aniston is attractive, but has stated a few times that she does not think so, and that her mother was very critical of her looks when she was younger.
You have some on forums, who have their pictures posted. They say they are ugly, or wonder if they are, and other are surprised they feel that way.
Some are just very sensitive. I have been called pretty / beautiful / sexy on a good few occasions. But I don't believe it, and have become indifferent to hearing people's compliments over the years. I never take them seriously, and just figure it's people being ncie.
So, for some, they are just not pleased with the cards they were dealt, even if other people are impressed.
People calling you ugly - a very small problem you cannot control
Googling your name plus the word 'ugly' - a potentially big personal problem that you can control
And no she is not ugly in my opinion, not to mention just last year she was the subject of a privacy issue popularly referred to as 'the fappening' which means she has a pretty big fanbase that thinks highly of her looks despite the gross implication.
When people bash celebrities- male or female- seems it's only for one reason: jealousy. I think it's idiotic.
I think its true in most cases (i.e.,Kim Kardashian - beautiful, rich, sexy, beautiful, sexy, beautiful, no real talent other than business/marketing) but someone like this Lawrence chick I can understand. She, at the advice and urging of her mother, SLEPT her way into Hollywood and SLEPT her way into Hunger Games. This is a FACT that is pretty well known.

A pretty well-known fact? I had never heard of Lawrence sleeping her way into being cast as Katniss.

I don't find Aniston particularly attractive. Jennifer Lawrence... absolutely.
