I'm going to a day party next Friday that starts at 2pm-8pm. I purchased my outfit several weeks ago, but not sure if it will be too cold or if I'll look out of place if everyone else has on pants and sweaters. The party is inside on the first two floors, then there is a rooftop on the 3rd floor that is completely outside. The weather calls for 68 degrees/partly cloudy. I'm wearing a black skirt, a long sleeve top that is partly sheer, and black sandal heels. Would this be too under dressed?
No problem, go for it. Don't overthink footwear, whatever you like. I typically wear flip-flops until early November or so, and that's in New England. Nobody bats an eye. But I'm a guy so YMMV.
