I'm not a bodybuilder but I'm bulky so traditional cotton clothing just does not fit me well as it will be tight on top and loose around my waist. The only clothes that seem to fit me well are workout clothes that are made of that wicking material (polyester blends, NOT cotton), such as most Under Armour shirts.

I'm in desperate need of some nicer (non-workout) clothing but love that material, wondering if anyone knows of a good men's clothing line or website that has nicer/dressy clothes that are not cotton and made of the same material as Under Armour/Nike/etc. workout shirts?

I'm not sure if this is what you had in mind, but what about these Duo Dry golf shirts from Target?

Also look for the commuter clothing aimed at cyclists.

Dress clothes are tailored. Get a tailor.

Apply both of the above suggestions. Get a tailor, because you'll find it difficult to fit in the regular clothes. And wear golf t-shirts, they look good.

Two options:

1. You could wear some of those Under Armour type shirts as t-shirts/undershirts with regular non-workout shirt on top.

OR

2. You could buy some nicer shirts at Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus and have them tailored there for free to fit both your upper body and around your waist. The free tailoring on anything purchased at these stores just cant be beat.

I'm not sure if getting $20 of tailoring on a $400 shirt constitutes cannot be beat. I don't shop at Neiman, too expensive. I don't buy stuff that's not on sale at Nordstrom, likewise too expensive. Brooks Brothers is my normal retail shirt store, so they come in at $75 a pop. The slim fit fits pretty well off the rack so I don't need to take them in. It's pants that require more work. I prefer taking things to my own tailor, however. I'd rather spend $30 and get it done right than fight over an in-house tailor ruining a piece of clothing.

Express's 1MX dress/office shirt is supposed to be good for jacked guys. It's a poly-blend so it stretches in the right spots. Your other option if you don't mind spending $$ is made to measure shirts from one of those online start-ups. You put in your dimension on their site and then they custom make a shirt & send it out. There's even one company that will duplicate a shirt in whatever fabric you choose if you send a good-fitting sample to their office in China.

Dressier? Try Under Armour pull-over's. They have a nice line of golf shirts, lot of colors.

Dressier/not work out material: Tommy Bahama has great cotton/tencel and linen blend pieces (Nordstrom, Dillards).
