Seriously? That sounds, well, god-awful to me. Even my very thin, very pretty, fashion-conscious nieces would never consider wearing a thong as everyday underwear. Ewwwwwwwwwwww.
Sometimes I wonder if the thong was invented as a torture device.
Imagine if it were considered sexy for men to wear those awful things. NO WAY would men put up with that crap.
I boycotted those when they came on the scene as popular due to cost mostly. I tried them once and they are ridiculously uncomfortable but I'm sure people get used to it. I have a friend that likes them because it shows no panty line which she thinks is sexy. I don't notice so I don't care. but the fact that someone would pay at least 20 bucks for dental floss up their bum ? why? I don't get it.
You can tell when a person has a thong underneath their pants. The pants too often seem to end up in the crack of their butt. Not a very good look IMO, but one I see way too often, unfortunately.
When I was at the beach last summer I saw quite a few women (teen to middle aged) with different body shapes (thin to extra chubby) wearing thong bikinis.
If they fit, they don't "rub" anything! Lordy...That's all I wear...for the last 8 years or so....no part of me is "irritated" at all!
The less material in the "thong" part, the better. You have to get the right size, or it will scooch around! A medium will fit all but the largest women!
Why bother--just go COMMANDO!
