So many great choices these days.

The one-piece has evolved over the years. It's not the same one-piece that your mommy or grammy wore years ago. Today they are stylish. There's the monokini (a hybrid between a bikini and a one-piece). Of course, there are bikinis (different types), cover-ups, swimdresses....... many styles.

What's your favorite?

For men there are bikinis (briefs), stretch shorts, swim shorts, board shorts...... anything else?

Which do you prefer and why?

As a guy, I am wearing square cut Speedos as I dislike having trunks balloon up in the water. I also dislike board shorts which , unless you are out surfing in the ocean , I dislike as well.

I purchased a tankini this year. Never heard the term before, until I started shopping around. A co-worker recommended it. It worked out great when I went on an island vacation last month.

Here's a sampling of tankinis.

I don't recall a time that one-piece bathing suits for women weren't stylish. They've always followed the trends.

I'm going to out myself as a fuddy-duddy, but with tankinis I like having the option of a skirt or shorts as the bottoms. Regular bathing suit bottoms feel like walking around in your underwear in public.

Eres is the absolute best and I am obsessed with their bikinis.

When I can afford them, I buy.

Woman's swimwear and lingerie: Erespari.com swimsuit

Otherwise I go with Hermanny by Vix https://www.vixpaulahermanny.com/ or Le Blanca https://www.lablancaswim.com/.

Living in South Florida, I live in bikinis all year long and cannot buy cheap ones. While I love Target, they do not last.
