to any makeup geek, what would you consider a really good beauty blender dupe at a cheaper price? i tried the bh cosmetics brand, and it's way too stiff. i want something that's as soft as the BB but not as pricey

My teen DD uses the Real Technigues complexion sponge and likes it. What the young woman mentions about the little tears yes it happens with washing it. Besides western sponges at www.en.koreadepart.com lots of Asianbeauty brands makeup sponges are sold.
