Make sure you're not allergic to retinol.

A couple of months ago my skin was having a reaction to some sunscreen and I used some sort of cream that contained retinol. I woke up the next morning looking like Rocky Dennis from the movie Mask.

I have a jar of organic coconut oil I bought from Trader Joe's. It seems to have good moisturizing property. It makes you smell like a coconut though.

For natural products I still stand by cutting open a fresh "leaf" of aloe vera.
