So I saw on TV a procedure called Cool Sculpting and wondering if anyone has had it done? I found a medical spa close by that does the procedure and went in for a consultation. I have always had a bit of a pouch even when I was 95 pounds in high school. It became worse after having two kids. Anyway, they basically put a machine over an area of your body that you have excess fat and it freezes the fat cells under the skin. Gradually over a 6-8 weeks span the body eliminates the fat and the fat cells never return. They showed me before and after pictures and told me the cost which honestly seems reasonable. There is no down time, only takes an hour and basically no pain and no scars like a tummy tuck. The only catch is that they can't guarantee that one time will do the trick. Sometimes you need it done twice. So I'm wondering if anyone has heard of this and if you have had it done or know someone who has and what were the results? Did you need one procedure or two?
I've never done it, but have read up on it. Basically you have to have several treatments to really see results, and frankly if you read reviews some people really don't see any. I would do more research on it if I were you before spending the $$$.
I haven't done it but common sense tells me that you can remove a little bit of fat but no miracles like some people hope. I don't think it is worth the $$$$.
Coolsculpting does not have a good reputation - no results for the money you pay. A lots of bad reviews on-line. No results or women left with lumps-bumps on treated areas. If you need to trim down a little your hips, tummy, thighs, etc - you can get results with dieting...and it is way less expensive too
My girlfriend who has almost a perfect body, but is OCD over being perfect (she was a model in her younger days) spent over $4000.00 on cool sculpting for areas such as bra back fat, etc. She said she could of just ate healthy and excercised, which is good for you anyway, instead.
I have heard of it. It is commonly advertised in my city... but seems too good to be true. It is not that expensive here ..... so if it worked everyone else would be running to get it done.
If you go to the FDA website you can read studies on it. I doubt it's a miracle but it seems to have better results than the other type of lasers, the ones that melt the fat instead of freeze it.
