Velvet may well be the season's latest trend in the fashion dept. Are you getting anything velvet? Do you like the fabric?
Velvet comes back in season few few years. When I was teen I use to hear my aunts roll there eyes about stuff like this ex bell bottoms coming back in style ... plat forms shoes and so on. Now I totally get it. People are just not as creative as we think in terms of fashion lol ! I am actually happy to here this because I have a few pieces that might be able to wear this holiday season that have been sitting in the back of my closet.
I would like a velvet jacket, but I don't know where I'd wear it. And, would I wear it under a coat? Sounds bulky. But when I saw a pic of a velvet jacket I immediately thought that I would like one.
I had a black velvet jacket back in the 90's.... lol

It seems like you can always find something in velvet around the holidays. I know I've worn it, but I can't really remember specifics. One of my SILs wore a red velvet jacket at Christmas. It was really cute.
I haven't bought anything velvet since the late 90s.
I was on a mission for some block heeled shoes in black, and so many were very. And more expensive than leather shoes. Eventually I found a suede pair, but it was tough. A lot of velvet shows this year.
I have a pair of velvet pants I bought 4 years ago. They have been sitting in the back of my closet for 3 years.....
I also have black velvet skinny pants that I'm waiting to wear. Somewhere. Someday. Need some badass shoes to go with.
