In a hot climate, it's great to go sleeveless, then you have this huge open area so that now your upper arms are sticking to your sides without fabric in-between. Is that comfortable in a humid climate? NOOOOO! But it seems you can't find sleeveless tops with normal arm-holes since the 70s.
And what about showing off all that bra, when you leave the house? I don't think this style looks good on anyone. Not to mention showing off "side-boob".
Just now, I got so fed up, I used safety pins to make the hole smaller. Relief, but now I really look goofy.
I prefer tube-tops but they are too clingy for a hot climate and too revealing for some of us----

No. Not fat either though. Just average. I know what you mean about some older women and their huge floppy upper arms. I don't have that.
That was diplomatic though----instead of saying "do you have fat arms?" LOL.
Nah I do have good sized arms and my complaint is often arm holes too small and they cut into my underarms. If the holes are really too big and show too much I guess you are supposed to wear another shirt under it, or some type of bra that is more like a top. I did have some shirts like that a long time ago, they were sheer the arm holes were big and long, it was designed to wear a tank top underneath.
I don't wear one at home, if that's what you're asking.
It wasn't exactly. My sense is that the clothes are meant to be worn without a bra. At least that's what I've seen here. In some cases I did have to pour bleach in my eyes.

I have not seen anything like that, and hopefully I won't. Sounds rather trailer-trashy.
