Yeah, a boycott suggests that one is trying to affect change. I don't think that not buying her products is going to change anything. I just don't want to give her my money when I have so many better options.

Doesn't sound political to me. It sounds like the person you were replying to is commenting her line of clothing is just simply... not good, or otherwise awful. Wouldn't matter if she were in a family of politics, or not.

Geez... I don't know why polyester is so criticised! It's the material for many quality Tahari suits! Silk - isn't that high maintenance?

And I believe in TRUMP, so I wouldn't dump on Ivanka. In fact, I think Ivanka is very pretty! It's great that she wears her own styles!

Angelina Jolie was hired to represent St John clothes but in all the media pictures I have ever seen of her - she never wore St John!

But there is some kinda creative inspiration that you get from other designer's clothes. When you make a similar modified outfit, -- Geez... I'd hate to be called ripping off designs. Some clothes just don't have it totally together and just need an extra touch!

I never even knew she had a line of clothing until all of the news on social media talked about them being dismissed from stores.

Same here. Someone must have done a bang up job dismissing [sic] them from the stores as I've yet to see any in my travels.

I hate Donald Trump and even I bought her two pairs of her shoes. It was a waste of money because of the lack of quality materials and poor design. However, if I saw some of her clothing items that I liked well enough I would purchase despite how I feel about her father.

Those who are boycotting her brand were never going to buy it anyway. And due to the quality issues, her line would have faltered even if her father hadn't run for office.
