...“exemplifies iconic American grandeur.”

The only problem with that is that nothing in the place was made in America. Major Trump Brand fail, if he's trying to convince anybody he's for American workers.

American-Made Suggestions for Donald Trump

What's Hillary's position ( a year from now ) on the new NAFTA?

Will it evolve after the election just like the SCARED bond between a man and woman marriage?

Bwahahahahahahahahah

This from a poster who supports a woman who has taken MILLIONS of dollars from foreign countries that kill gay people. who allow men to force their daughters to marry whomever they decide, who believe its good for a man to beat his wife... Where a woman can be tossed in PRISON FOR GETTING RAPED.

another thread fail from a PROG trying to say something... anything... to keep us from thinking about the deplorable woman he is running against.

There is nothing wrong with it.

The policies/laws of our country right now are such that it encourage it.

We need lawmakers who provide better incentives for businesses to manufacture right here.

As a Liberal I say; Go Trump!

And, another failed attempt at diverting the thread. Thanks for playing.

It's cheaper, thanks to various laws, to get foreign produced things.

No, I'm not saying vote Trump. The president cannot make laws. He can veto laws, but veto power only extends so far. Unless legislators reflect pro-American industry values, it really doesn't matter that much what the president thinks. Given that the GOP is likely to lose the Senate, and the GOP isn't really on Trump's side in the first place, it's sort of unrealistic to expect any major changes, even if he's elected.

Well, I hope he only employes those born and bred in America too. No Italian marble anywhere and the bar (and mini-bars) are only stocked with American made wines & spirits. That kitchen (is there a restaurant in the hotel?) better not serve any dish that wasn't conceptualized in the US or use any ingredient that wasn't grown in the US.

/eyeroll

What is worth keeping in mind is the following:

Quote:
American Bridge sent a team to the hotel to check things out, and they found that much of the stuff stocked in the guest room they visited was made overseas. The bedding? Made in China. A bathrobe? Made in China. The lamp? Made in China. The king sized bed? Made in the Phillippines. The ice bucket? Made in England. And the list goes on.

Now, it’s worth noting American Bridge is a liberal Super PAC that supports Democratic candidates and opposes Republicans.
Article didn't say "nothing". Said "much of the stuff".

The "high end" sheets from the suggested bedding company? King Sized for $189?

Sounds scratchy.

Basset? My house is full of it. That and Stanley and Hooker. Not high-end, but not HOTEL furniture. Couldn't take the beating.

Either way? Hotels are a different animal.

Just ask Anthony Melchiorri.

Isn't Trump stumping to change all of that? To BRING manufacturing back to the US?

Why should he screw his shareholders over in the meantime?
