Do you struggle more with finding casual dresses or leggings, that flatter your figure?
By leggings, I don't mean fitness leggings. I mean leggings that are thick enough to be worn as casual pants or with a long, flowy top.
Leggings are NOT pants. If they're called leggings, they're leggings NOT pants. They should be worn with a dress or skirt or a VERY long shirt one that goes well past your rear end. most leggings are fairly see through once on a body. Yup, even many folks wearing those Lula whoever leggings. And for the love of Pete, wear underwear! I've see way too many body parts in leggings....things I NEVER needed to see.
Being short, I find that jeans and pants are a struggle. Even many that are labeled petite are made for someone 18 feet tall. When I find a brand and style that fits well, I will typically buy several pairs so I have them. Might be 3 years before I find something else that fits well!

I know it's got a reputation for being a bit schoolmarmish, but Land's End has some styles of pants that they will hem for free, which is nice, so if you need a 27.5" inseam, they'll do that.
We have had many previous threads on the problems faced w/petites - unfortunately, it doesn't appear that there are any answers (Petite Sophisticate is gone - unless you sew, you are screwed. I see some that say they are a "larger" size but still petite (height-wise) - others (me) that are small/thin but kid's clothing is totally messed up now, petite sizes sold in stores sometimes don't even start until size 4!!! are geared toward 70-80 yrs. olds, etc. Just sad... keep your old worn old stuff, regret the things you got rid of because you can't replace those things.....

I see it all the time! Granted, since i'm on the upper end of petites, its not as bad for me, but its still rough for me to find dresses that fit right in the waist and are loose enough in the hips, as well as being the right length. That's why I started this thread, I'm trying to see what the problems are cause I want to write about it and hopefully help change something in the industry. We shall see though. This is great feedback!
