Ha! I remember before going out with friends each of us taking turns laying down and having a friend use pliers to pull up the zipper.
My parents used the "squat" test on us before allowing us out of the house. We had to squat and stand up to prove that we could actually move in our jeans. We became experts on how to do this move in tight, tight jeans!

....and using the hook of the hanger in the zipper to help....and then pushing down the pockets with the hanger too because there was no way your hand would fit!
