What irks me is that in fiction novels, "everyone" has green or gray eyes which are the most rare of all. I don't think I know one person with these fictional "gray" eyes. Can't remember the last green eyes I saw. Oh yeah, that famous National Geo cover, ages ago! LOL.
But oh the heroine with natural red hair and green eyes seems to be everywhere! AAAARGH.

It provides contrast when she meets the strapping gentleman with black hair and piercing blue eyes.
I'm watching a Korean show on Netflix, and in the episode I watched last night one of the characters commented on how she doesn't like Americans with their "creepy blue eyes."

When my son was in grade school, he was friends with a little black girl that had emerald green eyes. She was so striking!
My ex husband had ocean blue eyes. Not blue really...more ocean green I would say.
