Thought about piercing my nose once, but changed my mind and went with my bellybutton instead. Don't regret it one bit- I don't think I could have pulled off a nose piercing, while I love wearing belly rings.
If you want to do it, and if you think it'll look good on you, go for it.
no they can't - I don't know of a single example where it actually enhances the look
some are good looking enough already where it doesn't detract too much and definitely not enough to make them unattractive ...... but it definitely doesn't do them any favors

I'm talking about small nose studs. And not everyone is going to feel the same way you do about piercings.
If you think it'll look good, go for it. I got mine done about two years ago, and after it healed completely I've had no problems or complaints with it. Just make sure you go to a place that you know will do a good job (everything's clean and whatnot).
