Somebody up thread mentioned Jane Fonda. Physically she's a wreck: osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, hip and knee and thumb replacements, skin cancer, dentures, hair extensions; NOT something to aspire to.
Does she look or sound like a wreck? Most of us would like to be that much of a wreck at 80!
She could pass for 60 here and a good looking 60 at that!
Here is a woman who looks 65 but she is 85! Clarity of thought and speech. Her husband is thirty years younger and sounds less 'on the ball' than she does.
By the way, listen to what happened to her apartment because it seems to happen quite often! Scary!

Eh - I don't think she looks 65 at all. She does look a bit younger than 85, but to me, not all that much younger. She could pass for someone about 75 at best. I do agree that her younger husband sounds a lot less "on the ball." Maybe he's just not all that bright.
Jane Fonda on the other hand, so what if she's had surgery for her thumb and other things that have to do with aging? I think she is absolutely beautiful. She's worked very hard to keep in shape, too. It shows.
As far as the fire - that's very scary and we should all be aware of the possible consequences of a house fire - not sure what this has to do with the topic.
They don't always provide enough. I've been taking D supplements, but my test results show I'm not getting enough. My doctor said I need to get more sun. And not any time of day will do, btw. The sun's rays don't provide vitamin D outside of a narrow band of hours, depending on season and latitude. In winder in most parts of the US, there's no Vit. D in the sun's rays at all.
I don't think it's allowed unless you have her permission, and I don't know how you'd prove that. But yes, there are people like that out there, and I think it's getting more common. I'm curious; does she work? Does she run into any problems career-wise because of looking so young? It can be an obstacle in some ways, for people. Also an obstacle to finding a partner in one's age-peer group.
She hasnt had any career problems that I know of due to this, and she gets hit on by men all the time! She has 2 kids but she has been single for the past 10 yrs or so, she has no desire to date anyone.
What makes her case even more strange, she has a sister and brother, both older and they look their age for the most part, even her parents, they look their age as well.
Everyone nowadays gets carded, that means nothing. I do, I am 42 and don't look younger than probably 40.
Yes, many places have a policy to card EVERYONE. I am almost 70 and still have to show ID at some places. Believe me no one is mistaking me for under 21! lol

I’ve been very fortunate. No one believes I am as old as I am. A guy in my gym complained he was getting old because he was turning 43. I laughed and said I wish I was his age. He thought I was about 36. I told him I was almost 20 years older than him.
Most people think I’m about 15 years younger than I am.
I tell people it’s like a shiny new paint job on an old car. Looks great outside but under the hood it’s still old
Today I asked for a senior discount and the server asked for proof .
