I use ELF matte putty primer for large pores. You can then put a foundation or serum over that or use it alone actually. I like wet n wild photo focus stick.
But if I was on a deserted island and was allowed one make up, it would be lipstick hands down. Especially with my silver hair! My fav right now is Revlon "mauve it over". Or "blushing nude."
I find the true nudes too light for me and can't find the color that Kim Kardashian wears. She never looks washed out.....
Sadly I am allergic to all mascaras it seems....
ETA: I only use primer and foundation on my nose and extend it a little beyond that, just the "center of the face" and then chin. I try to avoid the foundation lines at jaw and hairline. And different neck shade if that makes sense.
