Amazon comes to mind, 99% of their stock comes from China.

Just give me straight leg jeans or pants.

Sure, XS leggings fit me but that is all i can wear? Missy size? I would probably have to go down to a Petite 00. Great selection, never mind expense, with that. Not getting into my 32DD bra.

Any women my size and age? What do you do?

I'm a petite size 2. Sometimes I can wear regular sizes, and sometimes not. I have a short torso and long legs proportionately I can wear Junior clothes, but most are cheaply made and ugly. Also, too young. I'm 5'3 and 111lbs. Usually a 2.

Trust me, I feel your pain.

These are the stores where I've had the best luck:
1. Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor LOFT - both have a good selection of petite clothes. More online than in store, but most locations have some styles in the store.

2. Petite Studio in NYC - and online. PS ONLY caters to PETITES! Check them out!

3. Express - but not in stores. At least not wear I live. OK selection online.

4. The GAP brands of stores - GAP. Old Navy. and American Eagle. Mostly online. At Old Navy, Check out the Pixie slacks. They are very classic and comfortable! You can dress them up or down.

5. Anthropologie - decent selection of petites.

6. Madewell - they also have a good Petite selection.

7. Macys and Saks online. More dresses than I would want, but they do carry petites.

8. ASOS - they have every size under the sun - including petites.

9. Reformation - not specifically a petite shop, but you can find a decent petite line there.

Never bought there but I've looked at Draper James. Started by petite actress Reece Witherspoon.

Best of luck and let me know how you do!

I cannot and will not shop online - I have to see and try on (or at least hold up) clothing.

But they're making the clothes that are for export for Westerners, not their own people.

Have you tried Loft?

I have a daughter who is 4'10. We get a lot of clothes altered. I may buy her a sewing machine at some point so she can do it herself, but it has been a couple of busy years and we just didn't have the time.

I know what you are saying about age appropriate clothing. We sometimes have the same issues. Justice was a good size choice for her for basics until it went out of business. Alter'd State fits her well, but she wants a different style. Loft had pants that worked for required school stuff, but the style was too old for her for most of the other stuff.

I just want to know how you did it, LOL. No weight gain at menopause? Did you take HRT? What's your diet and exercise routine? Must be a nice problem to have!

Incredible as it may seem, there are people who struggle with their weight in the opposite way that many of us do. They cannot gain weight, and have to be careful not to lose weight. It’s not always a matter of “How did you do it?” Some people have a lifelong issue with not weighing enough.

I just bought one pair of high waisted skinny jeans, one regular waisted skinny jeans, and regular waist black jeans from the juniors section. When I was a 0/2 I always found selection limited. Places like Forever 21 will have more in your size range.
