Lots of jeans nowadays are strechable.
It's a cotton blend with some other fabrics. Often with rayon, polyester, elastan, lycra and/or spandex, or any combination of those.

I love most of the newer blended fabrics and so do our customers.

The same model of jeans changed materials? That's unusual. I know when you look for different colors (of same cut and stitch) the materials can vary slightly... but they shouldn't change the materials on a pair without changing the model.

A clothing article has to be super-cute if it's anything other than cotton for me to purchase it. I recently noticed some clothing labelled 100% cotton that felt rough and scratchy. I wonder if they're now producing a cheaper quality of cotton, just like the watering down/cheapening of everything nowadays!

All I know is that I found out I was wearing a blend when I was down in New Orleans a few years ago, and by 10 am I had bought a 100 percent cotton shirt because the other one was too hot! Definitely breathable, thank goodness.

The cotton blend clothing usually gets too warm. I bought a pullover all cotton it’s sorta like a Henley style top, however, the minute I wear I get too warm like it’s mixed with poly or acrylic. Also, bought a jean top same thing states all cotton and it’s mixed with something, too warm.

The clothing that is really 100% cotton is cool to wear.

I’m getting tired of wasting money on clothing that states 100% cotton and it’s blended with another fiber. So now I’m going to wear the new clothing at home for a while to try out and if it’s not 100% cotton I’m going to return.

This is happening with cashmere, too, states 100% cashmere and many times it’s blended then it’s itchy. Real cashmere is so soft and not itchy. Recently I bought a beautiful cashmere sweater and it seemed like it was good quality, however, thought I would wear at home for a while and it was fine. I thought it would be but so many companies are ruining these beautiful sweaters.

Thoughts ?
I have never seen anything labelled 100% that I knew wasn't. And how would you know? Are you taking it for chemical analysis?

I just tried on some 100% cotton pants earlier today.
