More power to this guy, to me, it's no weirder than walking around in a cowboy hat, boots, and jeans when you're not a rancher.
Thanks for the info. I think most people who aren't aware of Japanese trends would associate it with the negative Lolita, especially since it looks like little girls' fashion.

I have no problem with someone wanting to dress any way they want if they're out socializing, shopping or even at Walmart. But I also have no problem with schools and businesses having standard dress codes.

But I've lived in the southwest and I love the cowboy look, lol.

I am 100 percent behind the idea of clothing being non gender specific, wear what makes you feel good!
Agree with this!

Yeah, I agree. I just find it weird in today's world, especially in the U.S. I would think the guy has mental issues.

I think he looks absurd. It's much too bizarre for me to understand the psychology behind it. Plus I really don't care what motivates him. It's peculiar.

Autogynephilia.

Preppy men have worn pink shirts for over 50 years.

Blah blah blah Vogue ,no there was NO menswear revolution and Drop-crotch pants were never a thing, as much as you are dying for one.

No. It's nothing more than a paraphila or grandstanding for social media validation points.

They're very bold coming out in the public now since claiming to be a transgender person is pop culture cool.

Phil Illy, "Autoheterosexual: Attracted to Being to Other Sex" .. Kindle $7.49
"There are two known types of transgenderism. One is associated with homosexuality and the other with autoheterosexuality, a sexual attraction to being the other sex. Some trans people see these transgender categories as existential threats, or even suppress knowledge of them."

In this book Mr. Illy, a self-identified autoheterosexual, provides evidence from more than a century of sexual research to present a superior model of transgenderism. This intensely researched book will help autoheterosexuals understand better who they are and why, and in the process come to terms with the underlying sexuality that drives their need to see themselves, and have others see them, as the opposite sex.
