You're right! The Asian girl in particular looked like she wanted to kill someone.

It would be awesome if SNL did a parody bit from that and had the women slogging through piles of horse ****. Women obsessed with horses = cra cra. There was a whole thread about that recently.

Agreed. Leather handbags are all I ever buy. Leather shoes beat the fake stuff too. Leather is the best.

The most eco-friendly line of clothing is at your local thrift shop, and costs pennies on the dollar.

Cotton and linen apparel's been here for a loooooong time.

Not a damn thing. I had a pleather coat once, given to me. I liked how it looked and it didn't really look like leather, so I wasn't being a poser. One chilly afternoon, I put it on and it cracked to pieces.

I was at a party once where there was a fire going in a fireplace, and some guy was sitting close with his back turned toward it. Suddenly he started yelping that he was on fire or being burned, and ripped his jacket off. Turns out it was pleather and it was melting on his body!

The production of pleather is extremely toxic and polluting. Most of it comes from a factory town in China.

"Changing fashion from within"?

You mean she's going to introduce meaningful sizes for women's clothing?

Not change styles every couple years so everything has to be replaced?

Develop sizing and patterns that look good on MOST women rather than only a FEW?

Invent sweatpants that don't make you look fat?

Or just some virtue-signaling about "plant based fabrics"?

Oh well.

Don't 'oy vey' me, I was referring to the term "plant based" being greenwashed to death on every possible product where it never existed before...tortilla chips, non-dairy milks, veggie burgers, etc. I didn't see it used on Stella's pretentious website, but I'm sure it's out there on apparel branding and labels.
