I don't like it. No one should wear that. I wouldn't hire or date you if you were wearing that ring.
That's a bit drastic. If we were in love and otherwise in a compatible, respectful, and caring relationship - I am sure we would find a way to compromise.
I saw a share of very tacky school rings and watches, or weird choices of personal styles and home decors (made by women and men), but those things generally are negotiable, no?
The perception of a "manly man" in the US is a bit crooked. Too many things men can't do afraid to look too "feminine".
... To me it looks more like something an uber macho guy would wear. The same guys with the gold chains or the gold nugget rings.
