Oooh man..I would be getting a new strap on that thing. I would be so mad about that.
LOL I was. I actually went to the store and asked if I could get a new strap for it but to have it customized would cost half as much as the purse; so I label it my "special occasion" purse.
I'm sure that website creator is ROLLLLLLIN in the money! There are plenty of women out there that are fashion conscious and want to always look like they have the nicest newest bags/sunglasses/shoes :P
I'm actually a member of that site, though I've never actually rented anything. I thought about it a couple of years ago when they first started but they've definitely gotten more expensive as they've gained popularity and I'm fine with my New York & Company purses.
I totally understand the idea though. It's nice to have luxury goods but it's such a bother to constantly worry about breaking them, getting them dirty, etc. I'd much rather have the look for a fraction of the cost. There are a lot of purses I'm particularly interested in right now (I'm currently in love with a giraffe print purse and a couple of patent leather ones) but they just aren't practical for everyday life. It'd be much smarter and cheaper to rent the bag for a little bit as opposed to spending a whole bunch of money on something I'd use sparingly.
Rent a purse. lol I can just go get an el cheapo one I like for $10 at walmart.
