I think guys getting pedicures is nice! Stylish sandals are a super nice idea as well As long as you promise never never to wear socks with your sandals we are good

Just get some Birkenstocks or Teva River Sandals and you won't lose your manhood.

My son wears Birkenstocks and gets pedicures now and then, and he's a heavy equipment operator -- definitely NOT a girly boy!

In fact, I'd have to assume that any guy who's afraid to wear sandals or get a pedicure for fear of what someone might think of him isn't too secure with his masculinity.

I actually find guys who wear cowboy boots 24/7 to be less attractive than flip-flop guys. I can't help but think that cowboy boot dudes are trying to make up for their lack of confidence in their sexualities. But, Mr. IHateMetrosexuals, I'll happily give you a dye job. I think purple and blue would go great against your camo.

OP: So long as she isn't pressuring you into it - "You have to get a pedicure or else!" - I say go for it.

I love my birkenstocks in warm weather, comfort, just pure comfort, I want nothing that goes between the toes, I have them on now as they are preferable to any slipper, I do not wear them with socks, too weird. I wash my feet and keep the nails somewhere this side of claws. Otherwise I really could care less.

Every time I see a man with socks in his sandals, I can't help but facepalm. Around here, it's usually just the old farts, but every once in a while... it's a redneck.

In the past I would have thought that this was a bit too feminine... but she seems to really want me to go.

Although I enjoy the comfort and freedom of sandals, I have to admit I am still a bit uncomfortable wearing them in public especially around people I know. Is there still any kind of a stigma with guys wearing sandals or is it pretty much normal now?
GO GO GO!! My wife bugged me for a long time to go with her to get pedicures. I would have manicures all the time but after enough nagging on her part, I finally agreed to the pedicure and it was amazing. Now I go every couple of weeks myself because I enjoy it. Not sure where you live but here (in Los Angeles) its pretty much always sandals weather (should be in the 80s this week) so its very very common for guys to wear them.

The pedicures are amazing - dead sea salt scrubs, foot and calf massages, the little foot bubble bath things that are built into the chairs, etc. I really like it. Take a book or your Iphone and just enjoy.
