Hi: I have this weird problem. On one of my eyebrows, about 1/3 of the tip, the hair has all grown straight up, rather than conforming to the shape of the eyebrow. I can't pluck these hairs going straight up, or I'd have no 1/3 of that eyebrow.
I can put Mary Kay extra emolient night cream on it, and it will stay the way it should, but not for long. Does anyone know of a product I can put on my eyebrows to keep the hairs in the right place?
Comb those hairs up and trim to match the rest of your browline.
You have an eyebrow "cow lick".
Thank you, but I really don't want to do that; I'm looking for a product I can use which will be invisible, but hold the brow in its natural shape. I'm sure a makeup artist would know about this.
I highly doubt you'll find anything that will "hold" the coarse eyebrows in place if they are growing in the opposite direction....even Chapstick.
You can try hairspray or a hair gel....you'll have to reapply after a while...
It's no different than having the same issue with hair, but trimming the eyebrow will give it the appearance of a normal growth.
There is an actual product for such grooming...mustache wax. I haven't found much difference between that and the recommended plain 'ol Chapstick previously mentioned, except that the facial blend is somewhat denser.
Another idea might be a tiny bit of hair goop...the mega-hold stuff we use to spike with. Will say 'glue' or something as blatent. Not just run-of-the-mill gel. It (glue) won't absorb like other hair products, is there until you wash it off. Brush it on with a brow groomer.
Has your brow always done this or is it a new thing?

My son has this with both brows and has them trimmed just as you stated. When he got older and it began to bother him, we tried everything to hold them in place, but nothing worked for more than a short while. Then I asked a stylist and she said that she has several clients with the same issue and they just have them trimmed. Now it's barely noticable.
I would imagine that trimming and a touch of pencil (Brenda Christian rocks) and it would disappear.
