What are your favorite brands for that sliding forward problem you can get with narrow feet and heels? I have tried some narrows but the toebox is too flat and it pushes into my big toenail painfully. I could wear it but I would be afraid of getting a really ingrown issue or even worse foot damage than normal from heels.
Those grippy pad inserts dont work well either but I just got a generic flat pad. I wondered if the dr.s gel ones may be right?
I just want to find ONE pair that I don't need an ankle strap with.
No but someone advised me to go to a shoe shop and have the pads sewn into the shoes. I haven't been yet. The gel ones are even worse than the other ones. I have found Suede ones to be best.
I haven't really found a brand of shoe that that has a narrow heel, even though some are better than others. Clarks with straps (I know you want to get away from that) and nine west shoes are better for me.
Yes nine west does have a lot of nice ones. Kenneth Cole too. But even then I walk out of certain ones or the lip is too high and digs into my heel. Maybe those suede ones though would give me the right amount of lift...hmmm....going to check into those. Thanks.
