I've seen men with every combination (including the many combos the OP left out) who look fabulous.

I agree with this. It's just about the eyes and hair. It's the facial features as well. There are guys that have brown hair and brown eyes that look way better than a guy with blonde hair and blue/green eyes.
I think the most beautiful physical type on the planet is the combination of dark hair (black or dark brown) with light eyes (blue or green). It's a combination that looks great on both women AND men. Think:
