The Arkansas Department of Health’s call center can answer other question about the virus at 800-803-7847 or ADH.CoronaVirus@arkansas.gov.

Most places just need a utility bill to prove residency, not a drivers license, so I would think you could get that pretty quick, and every utility company I've dealt with gives a receipt or email when you set up service with the address on it.

I'll tell you like I tell my dad...don't overthink it and don't volunteer too much information. Once you get here call around and just say you live in Bella Vista and want to get on a list. If they care about residency they'll say something. If you get there and they're ready to give you the shot and bring it up, you can truthfully say you live in Bella Vista and if they ask for an ID say you just moved here. Chances are good they aren't going to turn you away.

My parents are in their 70's and in group 1B in Arkansas and just got a call from Mercy yesterday telling them they have an appointment for tomorrow to receive the 1st vaccine shot. I think they've been on that list for about 3 weeks.

My wife and I will try to get the J&J shot tomorrow in Bentonville. We have a house under contract with the closing next week, but we have not changed our driver's license yet.

Here's hoping we can get the shots!!

Good luck. Wife and I got the J&J at a Walmart run drive through clinic on Saturday the 3rd. Spent Sunday and part of Monday fighting fatigue and body aches from head to toe, but have been right as rain since that Monday afternoon. I'd describe it as twice as intense as any flu shot I've ever had, but all in all not bad. Certainly better than a bad case of Covid, which a few people I know have had and took weeks to get over.

Neither one of us have had reactions to our flu shots except for soreness at the shot area. How soon did your reactions start?

I have changed my auto insurance, so maybe this will help if Arkansas residency is required.

Got the shots Saturday morning and both had mild headaches that afternoon, but nothing major. Woke up at 5 am Sunday morning and every muscle ached, head to toe, so about 18 hours after the shot.

We got our J&J shots this morning with no issues. It was a very well run drive thru clinic put on by Walmart. We were in and out in about 45 minutes. We are taking Tylenol before we get the headaches or body aches.

Have Good Health to All.
