Long ago, I knew a hippie kid who painted big river rocks about the size of a basketball in bright colors, and then would leave them in forests like this.
I ran across one once years later, and it was pretty cool, but nothing as spectacular as these sculptures. They look more like artifacts from some long past, mysterious civilization than anything else to me. Good stuff!
