Anyone know the latest info on the body of the 30 yr old woman found under a bridge in Oak Creek Canyon. Accident?...Suicide?...Murder?

According to the latest local news, the woman, Joy Prats, was from California (it was not stated if she was just visiting or had recently moved here) and her family had reported her missing to the Cottonwood Police Department prior to her body being discovered under Midgley Bridge by some hikers. While the incident is still under investigation, the authorities believe suicide is the cause of death because the woman had apparently made suicidal statements to either friends or family before she disappeared.

If I remember right, this it the third death recently at the Midgely Bridge. Most or all suspected of being suicides.

Yes, there have been quite a few in the past year or so. Also, at least one person talked down IIRC. I refer to it as the 'suicide bridge' to my guests since I can never remember the actual name.
