Hi everyone, was wondering if anyone knows of any weekly/monthly stay motels in or around Sedona that wouldn't break the bank to get a room for a couple of weeks or possibly a month? I'm looking at relocating to Sedona and don't want to spend a lot of money so I'm definitely not looking for the plushest accommodations, just something that will get me by for a month, spending minimal $$ until I can get out to look for a decent rental.
Thanks!

Try this website. http://www.visitsedona.com/articles/71. Hope it works for you. It has all kinds of info on places you're looking for. I didn't check each listing but there's plenty to choose from.

Thanks! I did check on this website and another one and made a few calls to some motels but everything I called was WAY more $$ than what I was looking to spend! I spent a summer a few years back working in Sedona and stayed at a little place off of the highway just outside of Sedona, on the way to Flagstaff that I think was called the Redrock inn and the weekly stay rates were around $150-$175. I can't seem to find it listed anymore though and was wondering if its still there? That would be the ideal situation for me.

Could it be the Red Rock Lodge? Spent a couple of nights there a few years ago.

Thanks for that, Yes, it is the Redrock Lodge! I just read your post and just called them and I guess they were recently taken over by someone else and no longer have the great rates they used to have so it looks like I'm going to be living out of my car for a few weeks....

Have you considered staying in Cottonwood instead? It's only about 20 minutes to Sedona and there are some places here that will rent by the week/month. The View Motel and Little Daisy are two that I'm pretty sure do because they've always had construction workers, etc. staying there a week at a time, or longer. Also The Sundial in old town.

Actual that's a great idea! Cottonwood isn't that far from Sedona at all and it sure beats a stay in the car... Thanks, tomorrow I'm going to call the motels you listed and see what they say about weekly rates...

The places I mentioned are nothing fancy but they are decent. And, yeah, they'd beat staying in your car. Hope it all works out for you!

Checked out some motels in Cottonwood and they were all quite a bit to pricey for weekly/extended stay...I was surprised at the price of some of the quotes I got for weekly rates at even the dumpiest of places! Things have sure changed since I stayed in Sedona some years back, and that wasn't even all that long ago! Looks like the car or camping outside is what is going to happen for a month.

I suggested the guy looking for a cheap room near Sedona check the rooms available at flagstaffweekly.com. I can't imagine how that could possibly be construed as spam.
