My fiance and I are planning on heading off to Sedona in June of 2014 to get married. This is a second marriage for both of us, so we are not looking to have a huge and elaborate celebration. Ideally, we want to pick up a marriage license at the Coconino County clerk, find a chapel and get married. I started looking online and I see "elopement" packages as high as $300-$1000?! No can do. We are going to be out that way for vacation, and figured on doing this for very little. I can see spending around $100 for the license and then maybe another $100 to have someone and a witness make it official. Any ideas?

well, first, Sedona is divided between Yavapai and Coconino Counties, so don't start off on the wrong county, er, I mean foot, with the marriage!.....

Google for "sedona marriage officiant" and go from there. You'll probably need to increase your budget for the officiant and a witness. BTW, I'm pretty sure Arizona requires 2 witnesses. I don't want to turn the forum into a commercial site, so direct message me if you want an officiant recommendation. Another alternative is to get married at a Justice Court. I don't have details, but here's a
starting point . Congratulations and best of luck!
