I Know I Know. I hated 2004. I love Hurricanes don't get me wrong but when they evacuated everyone to Orlando, SMH the day after, it was HOT gas was gone , no food, looting, trees down, power lines, and anything cool melted in the 95 degree heat right after a damn hurricane. LOL That saying to say Evacuating to Orlando orlando was unprepared you know? it is almost

I'm afraid you guys in Orlando would be evacuees....if you believe this anyway - it said everyone 200 miles inland from the Gulf. So basically the entire state of Florida.

Actually, Id feel better if they were preparing for something like this. But honestly, I think the most we'd be told is to buy duct tape for the windows and wear a mask (for smoke from the burning of the oil). Perhaps we'll get a bottled water only instruction (aquifer contamination?). Otherwise, forget it, we're on our own. If you want to prepare, prepare like it will be a hurricane. Stock up on food, water, batteries (especially if you live in Tampa - they are preparing to close the desalinization plants - they depend on the plants for electricity not water) and other necessities. We'll all be able to watch it all unfold from our homes on our TVs should we choose to remain in the area.
