Dear Crist and Scott Campaign Managers,
Personally, I don't like either of your candidates very much but, more importantly, I HATE negative campaign commercials on TV. The prospect of seeing them, ad nauseam, for the next two months is more than I can take. So, PLEASE....if you must waste money on TV commercials, make them positive or, at the very least, give reasons why your candidate deserves a second chance. Don't tell me why the other candidate is more of a demon, a thief, a lying con artist, etc., than your guy. This country and this state deserve candidates of quality, not the lesser of two weasels. Any fool can create a commercial that paints a negative image of the opponent thru half-truths, innuendo, dramatic imagery and sound, and woeful voice-overs but it takes real talent to make mediocrity look exceptional.
Thanks....

Of course, every year we see these ads and every year we have people ask them to stop but they don't listen. Honestly, I think we get the lousy leaders we do because too many people base their vote on these stupid, vapid, commercials that are nothing more than fluff or smoke with zero substance. This latest round from both sides featuring the same campaign donor is the one that pushed me over the top. OK, I get it. Guilt by association and all that but these campaigns would have us believe that both guys are dirty for the same reason! Really? They are like children yelling "He did it!", "No, he did it!", "He did!", "He did!"

This is getting beyond stupid and both sides are setting themselves up for a third party challenger if someone with some class, smarts, and character can generate some media buzz. Maybe it's time.

I was wondering why Charlie Crist was bashing Rick Scott at all. He could have easily focused on his positives and let the media take aim at Scott. These commercials are getting old, and it's about time they stopped.

I have discovered that there is now a set of commercials that will get me changing the channel faster than the opening bars of Sarah McLachlan's "Angel" and the appearance of a sad-faced puppy in a cage.

Gosh, Charlie Crist is looking more and more like a used cigarette butt. And Scott looks way too much like Nosferatu for my liking. Both give me nightmares. If this was a beauty contest, we'd need a third party. Sheesh.

Hate to say it, but they're probably saving their "best" stuff (or "worst" stuff, to be honest) for October. The stuff they're airing right now is just the appetizers. Of course most of us are rapidly losing our appetites.
