Today has been one of the most beautiful Florida days I've ever experienced.
Blue skies, 77°F, calm breeze.
Time to take the dogs for a hike at the state park.

I live in Tampa as well and this summer was overwhelmingly sunny, except for a few days in early May.

Have to agree, that sun was a shinin' all summer, if you added ALL the days of cloudiness up you would get MAYBE 10-14 days. We cannot count a 2 hour thunderstorm due to the fact it almost always clears out completely after it dies out. 15 days of sun, pretty laughable!!!! Reverse that....

We spend our summers in Brooksville (Which Noone Knows so you have to say Tampa), Where it was extremely rainy for most of the summer one day we had. It was sunny for 2 hours then crash its starts raining for most of the days. When we drove to Clearwater/South Tampa it was sunny but when we went home it was rainy. So it all depends on what county you live in if you seen rain.

June Weather in Brooksville:

July Weather (Some of the days are missing?)

Almost all of the days were foggy/cloudy and/or rainy.

Those charts aren't very clear, but even if you look at the total rainfall for each month, it isn't any higher than what we had on the coast. Saying that it rains all day does not add up. I watched the storms on the radar over the summer, too (I'm fascinated by weather) and I didn't notice that any place got dumped on every day, except in early summer they got hit hard up by Mt. Dora, but that's it.

I suppose if you count being able to see a storm cloud off in the distance somewhere you might be able to say it was cloudy most of the time.

On the original topic, yes, sunny and beautiful, as it has been for quite a while now! At the moment 82* and not a cloud in the sky.

Fog in Tampa? Is it from the polluted skies or the high mountains in the area?

Seriously. It seems you had your own cloud Following you everywhere you go, cause everybody else here agrees it's sunny most days with the occasional afternoon thunderstorm.

I live in Tampa too in the Brandon/Valrico area and this is very true. We did get the typical late afternoon storms but overall it was a very sunny and imo, beautiful summer.
