Looking for a middle ground to meet an old friend who I have gotten back in touch with. We both like the outdoors and small towns, but from what I can tell, most of the places in-between are too small for much commerce. Any suggestions for museums, state parks, antiquing, etc between these locations?

Lake City or Valdosta would be the only places of note between the two. I really don't know if they have any of the things that you listed.

I'd try Valdosta! Looks like it meets most of your criteria.

Georgia State Parks - Reed Bingham State Park

Have fun re-connecting!

Tallahassee -- take I-10 west from Jax, get off the Hwy 27 exit in TLH that will take you directly to Bainbridge (about a 45 minute drive from that exit). TLH is much closer to Bainbridge than it is to Jax, but there's not much else between Jax and Bainbridge apart from trees and farms.
