This is my first post.... So right now I'm a JerseyGirl.. working on getting a job in Sunrise or Coral Gables. I'm a very young 52 and single... wondering what the towns are like.... what the people are like.. How's single life in these towns. Or are these the towns the retirees live in? LOL Apartment complexes nice? I've looked at some nice ones on the computer in Sunrise.. I love the beach so I'm staying towards the coastline.. Any suggestions?

I don't know much about Gables since I mostly deal (as a realtor) in Broward/Palm Beach, but East Sunrise is very close to Downtown Fort lauderdale and the beach. Plenty of decent apartments/condos there.. For singles scene/night life I would suggest the downtown since it has nice bars and restaurants with live music. Ofcourse you also have shopping, art galleries, cllubs etc there. Oh and did I say, you will still be 5 mins from the beach
