So I start out this morning as usual, getting my butt handed to me on the FL scratch offs. Won a hundred a couple times then they got it right back messing around with the $20 tickets. Things were looking pretty bleak, I'm ticked off and I'm down a $100, looks like the g/f isn't getting anything for V-Day plus I'll have to hear her ream me for scratching tics in the first place.

Things turned around, I had some $3 crosswords laying around the car and didn't even play the game, just scratched the letters around the border to see if they spelled anything. One of them was a T H Y, $30, so I go to corner store out in BFE and get a $20 Monopoly a $5 Black Pearl and a $5 Green Hornet. Hornet was a loser.....then the Black Pearl is a $100 win. I start scratching the $20 tic and I match a number for $100, then another # for another $100......it was a $500 dollar winner. I cash out and throw the clerk a $50,go on a shopping spree and on the way home I stop in Publix and grab a $20 Monopoly and bam a "GO" symbol....$200 winner. Never had day that lucky in my life and probably never will see it again.

You bet it does. I was very impressed when I visited my kid's middle school and my elementary kid comes home on a brand new school bus, not like the 70's style dumps and junk buses in MI, where they have outrageous property and state income tax.

I very rarely buy those, but every once in a while I'll give it a shot. I've never won a dime. Hubby, however, seems to win something every time he tries it. I guess I should start sending him out to do that more.
