Thinking about moving to the Clermont or Minneola area. Is one area better than the other, if so why? Also all positive and negative aspaects you have and what led you to feel that way. It will be a big move for my family, 30 y.o. w/ wife and 4yr old daughter, 16 mo. boy. Good place to raise a family or not. I'm looking move on a promotion for work and would like to be in this general area, 1/2 hr to west for work and hr east to disney/orlando. Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks

Both areas are nice, wife worked for a developer in the Minneola area and with Clermont just next door she was tasked with researching everything for buyers.

Personally I see Minneola as very rural with homes having 5 to 10 acre lots for that small garden and the wife getting you to stop by the store on the way home.

Clermont is zoned for a mix of large and small lots, developed a bit more and lots of shopping nearby.

Hope this helps,

Default clermont yacht club & magnolia pointe

I am looking at buying a 3/2.5 townhouse in either of these 2 subdivisions for long term rental. Does anyone have any feelings about the potential for this.
