If you read my original post, it said clearly that perspectives change.

Simply pointing out that the grass may or may not be greener on the other side.

My views did change, then did again, yes I missed it here, but the heat has done me in. FL is great, when it is cool. I don't complain about FL, the heat yes, it messes with me, unlike a few years ago and before that.

I don't know what you are talking about.

To set the record straight, if need be, I was born in the Bronx, NY, lived in Brooklyn NY as a child and an adult, been in FL 23 years, 17 of them in Orlando. I've never said I am a native Floridian, if that is what I am suspecting you are surmising.

Sooo sick of the stupid complaints. If you don't like to go outdoors DO NOT move to Florida. I like living in Florida because of the lifestyle. I don't live in a large city in south Florida. Closer to the panhandle.

I LOVE to fish! I could not imagine living away from the Gulf. It's very laid back..the people are very down to earth and I see dolphins swimming every weekend..hell I swim with them. I choose this "beach life" over city living.

DUH. The summers in the south are hot!

Yes there is sweet tea here.

Drugs are in every state. Good luck keeping your kids in a bubble.

Fake people live everywhere.

This world is crazy and filled with loonies.

The area I live in is absolutely gorgeous. Some people are idiots. Of course the cost of homes will rise the closer you are to the water.

I also visit a great farmer's market with FRESH vegetables.

If the restaurants suck so bad in Florida why not cook your own food at home?

You're not going to enjoy living anywhere if you don't have money saved. Since when has living paycheck to paycheck offered anyone a decent and stable life?

Secure employment before moving anywhere.

Interesting. Think the state rates might have something to do with this?

Why is everyone expecting a job? Create one for yourself and that way you will be OK no matter where.

Nope. You hear a lot of blame on people not getting a job here, there or everywhere. But in FL it's no problem, you get paid in sunshine!!! I have a good job, not worried here.
