Nice beach pics sunny.i presume that you and your family are in that beach picture .
As for Chris's melted icecream shack i think some of the posters are missing his point, its not about where the pic is from its about a symbolic representation of Floridas heat.

You can only have one if you wear a flowered shirt with checkered shorts, black knee-high socks and black slip-on sandals.
Only then can you come out & play.

By the way, I like the ice cream truck picture, so I didn't post that last thing to be antagonistic, but simply so that you would know that the picture was taken in Australia, and so you would know the backstory behind the picture. It's a pretty good analogue for the heat, especially if you're in the Orlando area where there's not as much of a breeze. So just for the record, I got no problem with you posting the picture (it doesn't take up that much space).

The thread is pics of everyday scenes in South Florida, last I check Australia is about as far from South Florida as one can get.

No one said anything the first dozen times he posted it but this thread is not about the weather, the picture is not in Florida and anyone posting the same thing over and over should be called on it.

Context is everything isn't it?

If you showed a prospective transplant to Florida this picture, they might think "yeah, they've definitely got bugs there, alright! But hey! It looks reasonable. I think I could deal with that."

But if you showed them THIS picture(basically just the close-up of the corner of the windowsill on the last picture), they would think "OMFG!!!! The air over there must be like ONE SOLID LOAF (TM.)(expression borrowed from Cixcell ) OF LOVEBUGS out there!!!! How the hell do people breathe without a respirator!?!? Florida? NO THANKS BUDDY!! I think I'll transplant my butt to the planet VENUS before I do THAT!!!

So folks remember this principle when dealing with all forms of media!

Also need to remember the love bug flights only last for about 4 weeks, twice a year and are beneficial to gardens
