THX what is funny about this is the poster said if you look at the dates and year of his post he was living in Delray then Boca then somewhere else just seems a bit strange...Coconut Creek wasn't far from where we live in Boca so I would think he would know the area and Delray isn't that far either...Very Very Strange but hip makes a very valid point

A lot of people dream of living in Florida.

He said he just moved to South Florida. But in the other posts he clearly states that he already lived in South Florida. One says for 10 years. I even found a post where he explains the weather of South Florida to someone. In great detail. Yet in this thread he says he is surprised by the heat of South Florida like he never lived there before.

I just don't get it. There must be an explanation.

And in case there is any question, this is what he says on this thread.

Yeah, I mean I'm from the east coast, so I can handle the humidity, but the humidity in south FLA is on another level. Like whoa!!!!

Even at night, it's hot and humid, it's so strange to me. Not in a bad way, just I'm a little surprised every time I walk outside and am hit by the humidity. It feels like how a rain forests looks. Hot and sticky.
And I didn't catch this. TriMT7 caught it right away and then it jogged my memory.

Maybe the OP is Henry Flagler reincarnated? I see what you mean though, it's the internet....

Yeah. I've been on CD a long time. I've personally met some very nice people but I've also interacted with several people that were not what they claimed. Having said that, I hope the OP is okay. Whatever the explanation, I don't want to upset him. It's all good, no matter what.

Guys, thanks!
I'm loving coconut creek so far, it's super convenient. I live very close to the promenade of coconut creek and I've already eaten at the Greek restaurant named ethos--so good and of course, the starbucks everymorning right there.

Loving it so far. Have spent 2 days at deerfield beach as well. Super nice.

Yeah, they've been a bit annoying, but they're not actually roaches, but palmetto bugs---they look markedly different than roaches, but they are rather large and gross. .

I usually just kill them

Omgosh... I was about to post for the first time today and came across this. Wow! I've been learning just a tiny bit from posters as I research Florida, especially Miami - and this is too interesting. And slightly creepers. I think the person posting it is a woman. Not that it matters. I can just tell by the way she writes. And it's odd she is giving location specific daily patterns. I'm curious. Optimus, I invite you to tell us the real story - what gives?
