Hi, im 26 and i really want to move out of my parents home! I live and grew up in Miami and i did move to new york for 3 years but came back as i couldnt take it anymore there. I want to get out of the city due to cost of living. I am looking for a town that has low minority count and nice neighborhoods. I have been looking at osmond beach near daytona and it looks okay to me but i hear daytona beach is not what it used to be?

I'd recommend looking a bit further north to St Augustine Beach. It's a nice, quiet, non-touristy beach town next to St Augustine which offers plenty to do in terms of restaurants, shopping and other activities. I've lived in Florida for quite some time and know that Ormond Beach while nice is very close to Daytona Beach and it's biker reputation draws millions of very loud bikes in from across the country to Bike Weeks and other events. The spillover reaches Ormond Beach and if you're like me the sounds of modified motorcycle mufflers blasting at all hours of the day/night isn't something I look forward to.

have you looked the west coast of FL, such as Sarasota?? And if you ever get the urge to goto the City Tampa is a 1hr drive....

I live in Sarasota, this is a really beautiful place to live; lots of nice neighborhoods. Small city with big city amenities. Lots of arts, and many festivals going on all year. Definitely a place you should look into, I think it ticks all your boxes.
