It's a good thing the capital of California isn't Los Angeles, the capital of New York isn't New York City and the capital of Illinois isn't Chicago. Those big cities are corrupt as hell and Miami is no exception. The capital should stay in Tallahassee.

The capitol should be Orlando....right smack in the middle of the state. Represents both areas of FL decently.
With their large Hispanic population and yet...with their large "southern" culture...and tourists areas...Orlando represents FL today in the 21st century.

The capital is not supposed to be the most "touristy" spot in the state. It's fine being in Tallahassee. What's next, New York's state capital moved to the inside of the statue of liberty?

Theres no longer much of a Southern culture left, much less a strong Southern culture. I take you dont live here.

Exactly... What "Southern Culture?"
Orlando is very much becoming a replica of Miami, just without the beach.

How so? The two really aren't that different in terms of culture. Lake and Volusia counties are the only areas that have any type of Southern feel.
