My husband has spent the last few months trying to find a job that better meets what he went to school for. Every night he sends out his resume to at least 10 new places some nights as many as 30. About six months ago he obtained his Masters in IT security. He is currently working on his Doctorate's in IT. He is currently a computer tech for our local school district. We are willing to relocate where ever we need to for him to find a position that will allow him to put his degree to use.

If you are a headhunter looking for someone in this field please let me know, I will send you his information.

Thanks for reading.

According to some in this forum there is no problem finding well-paying jobs in Florida with the proper credentials. As you're discovering first hand, it is with a dozen applicants per living wage or higher job (18.65 per hour and up) on average here in Florida. As some have alluded to prior establishing a Florida address weirdly helps in some instances, so perhaps that might be worth looking in to. Good luck!

No because in many it's higher (and in some lower), which is how averages work.
