I know Florida is already a lost cause and will never get back to the normal flow of small business. Besides that, I am thinking since Charlie Christ now a typical liberal may very well slam us with massive real estate tax increases like NY and the rest of the liberal states that people are fleeing.

How safe to hold on to rental homes or better to sell and replace in more secure markets moving forward.

I think your post is based on two fundamental flawed assumptions. The first can be found here:
Region has No. 1 job creation rate in nation in August | HeraldTribune.com and the second is your assumption that Crist is going to win. From everything I've seen, Scott is slightly ahead or dead even and the conventional wisdom is that the party not in the White House is the party that turns out for mid-term elections.

What are the latest polls showing for Medical Marijuana? I think it needs 60% to pass.

I wonldn't really consider Christ to be a liberal. Remember, he recently switched to being a Democrat mainly so he could run for Governor. He's more of a moderate guy who really could fit in with the centrist establishment of either party.

"Online help-wanted ads, considered one of the best indicators of occupations in demand, show retail salespeople are the most highly sought-after in Southwest Florida."

Unfortunately, most of these are likely to be low wage, part time positions, so I'm not very impressed. You would really need to see household incomes increasing relative to the cost of living. At least that's what I had in mind with Scott's whole "Let's get to work" slogan.

Yes because we all know the most booming states in the US are Conservative states such as West Virginia, Oklahoma etc. Their economies suck and so do their cities because they don't invest anything into their infrastructure.
