Married couple 40 something no kids...where to move in Florida? Anyone know of a nice clean area in Florida where we can find a townhouse or condo near the beach. Where there are local restaurants and shops nearby. We are in Jacksonville now and not liking it. We were contemplating St.Augustine. We are both in the restaurant business as well. Any advise will be great. We also have one dog, and love to take him for walks on the beach and trails. Something 900-1100 in rent is what we are looking for.

St Augustine is nice but very touristy, so consider that on a daily basis. Check out St Petersburg which is booming in it's downtown area (and in general). There's also a fun dog beach there as well.
