And VCSO isn't pressing charges? How can you forget a baby in a vehicle that long?

And she was the baby's "caregiver". We deserve to know the story about why she had that baby. Why was this fool taking care of it instead of the mother.

DCF needs to take her other kids into foster care, for their saftey.

It was a terrible accident, apparently the bio mother had issues and the baby and another child were in the care of the teacher (who had dropped the other child off earlier in the AM). I believe the other child was removed from the home after the incident and the teacher is on leave while there is an ongoing investigation, more will be coming out in the coming days.

It's a shame she didn't put her handbag or cell phone in the back of the car w/ the baby but she was probably in a rush and had other things on her mind. Not excusing anyone but it sounds like it may have been the case

That is correct....apparently the woman is a model teacher and terrific mother by all accounts, and wasn't a case of obvious neglect but a very unfortunate accident. I don't think the police/district attorney will want to press charges given the community's support for the teacher.

Someone on clickorlando was saying schools should have people walk through the parking lot once every hour each day, to look in car windows to see if someone left a child in there.

Yeah, there's plenty of room in the skeleton education budgets the state provides for something like that to occur. Maybe they can try and make teachers do it when they're not teaching or looking through their wallets/purses for cash to go buy more supplies they don't have enough of.

They could have the school janitor do it.

The BF in the video looks and acts like a druggo. And maybe the mom too. I think we know why they needed to give baby up for awhile.

But they should have called DCF so that it would be safe. Not given it to that teacher.
